Dear colleagues,

The Chilean Astronomical Society (SOCHIAS) is very pleased to announce the XVII SOCHIAS annual meeting, to be held online from the 17th to the 21st of January, 2022. Information on the meeting can be found at sochiasmeetings.cl .

The SOCHIAS annual meeting is the largest national astronomy and astrophysics science meeting in Chile. It has taken place at different locations across the country since 2002, and it is an event in which we can interact with the increasing demographics of the Chilean astronomical community. Therefore, it represents a unique opportunity to share the latest astronomical and space research with a broad audience, as well as foster new collaborations among the researchers based in Chile.

Registration is required for the meeting. Please note that the deadline to apply for contributed talks is on October 15, 2021.
